It's no secret that I want to crush the fear of public speaking for good, so when I come across an article that "gets it," it's likely to get in the TOP 5. Dustin Mathews gets it. Check out his article here. Numbers 1, 4, and 6 are top-notch.
2. The Key to Being an Effective Public Speaker
This article gives a unique approach to giving a presentation. Our first thought to speaking is usually to prepare, prepare, and prepare some more, our slides, our content, etc., with the emphasis on making sure we have our presentation planned to a T. Ami Kassar has a slightly different approach. He advocates being entirely focused on something else...the audience and their needs. Check out the thoughtful article here.

Funny, in-depth, funny, and helpful. These are the gems that I like to get my grimy hands on. They aren't the ones featured on the front page of Forbes magazine (not that they shouldn't be), but they simply have heart and soul.
