The purpose is to save you time. A lot of what's out there can get repetitive and end up wasting your time.

1. TED's Secret To Great Public Speaking

From TED curator Chris Anderson! In this video he offers some great tips in under 8 minutes. Some solid advice to give better presentations.  

2. IMPROV Makes You A Better Speaker!

I took an improv class for 8 months. It was challenging. It was fun. It was so freakin' worth it. It improves your ability to listen and respond without panicking. This article talks about the other benefits you can get on top of what I mentioned.

Improv is one letter shy of improve, it can truly improve your skills. Get down on it and check it out. 

3. TED Talk About NOTHING. And It's Pure GOLD!

Brilliant TED Talk by Will Stephen! A case of LESS (or in this case NOTHING) is better. Another thing that this proves is that entertainment can go a long way with your presentations. If the audience is laughing, who cares what you say, right?

His voice was interesting and kept me engaged. He was human and not a robot. This was like a politician’s speech but more entertaining, and a heck of a lot less fear mongering. See it here. 

4. 5 Public Speaking Tricks From Eminem

Yep, the rapper who doesn't give a f#$% can help us with our public speaking. These tips are short and sweet and you'll love them. Check them out here.   

5. Donald Trump Speaks Like A Sixth-Grader

And so should every other politician. This article by the Washington Post goes into the importance of speaking in simple terms...at least if you want your audience to understand you. Whether you like Donny Trump or not, he's at least understood when he talks. Even my infant son can understand him. Check it out!
